Job Description We have an exciting opportunity for a Change Communications Manager to join one of the UK's biggest utility firms. This brand new position, set-up as an initial 12-month fixed-term , will spearhead the strategy, development and delivery of an internal communications plan around a major (recently launched) change programme. Working closely with the Internal Communications Manager, the postholder will need to act as a trusted advisor to key internal stakeholders; informing, engaging, understanding their challenges and opportunities, and offering strategic thinking to help them deliver change internally. Our client, based in Reading, is looking to bring the Change Comms Manager in ASAP - candidates with a four week notice period (max.) will also be considered. Key Responsibilities Develop the internal communications strategy for the project implementation and beyond Meeting any deadlines for delivery of communication materials and make sure all relevant teams have the right content in a timely manner Producing content in a variety of formats including video, digital and print Making sure all communications is measured for its effectiveness and incorporate lessons learned into future plans Being the primary point of contact for any Operations change communications inquiries regarding a project or campaign, primarily focused on one specific transformation project Attending all related meetings and keep the relevant comms teams informed about any actions/outcomes Key Requirements Minimum 4 years' internal communications experience Strong previous track record of change communications Digital Communications - Evidence of developing innovative digital communications and drawing on behavioural insights to provide strategic advice to senior leaders on digital communications Creating & Curating Content & Conversation - Evidence of leading on how to lead effective conversation, encouraging the use of storytelling as a communication technique and demonstration of coaching leaders in this approach Stakeholder Engagement - Demonstrate proactive & reactive management of stakeholders - influencing and collaborating effectively to gain expert opinions to drive communication planning & decision making Understanding People & Cultures - Able to identify the correlation to communication and culture and demonstrating strategies for change communications Excellent standard of written and spoken English VMAGROUP is a leading international interim, , and recruitment and executive search specialist.
