The Patient Care Technician (PCT/CNA) performs a variety of patient care activities at Gaylord hospital. Working under the direction the RN, the PCT’s have valuable exposure to a wide variety of patient populations and skills while working in a warm and friendly atmosphere with supportive, interdisciplinary teams. With an average patient length of stay 25-30 days, the PCT is able to develop strong relationships and play a key role in the recovery of our patients.
Job Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or GED required
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Patient Care Technician (CPCT), Certified Emergency Medical Technician (CEMT) or Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) required
- Patient care experience preferred
- American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) CPR Certification (preferred) prior to hire
WORK SCHEDULE: 32 hours/week, day shift (7:00 am-3:30 pm), every other weekend/holiday rotation
