Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure internal Customer Due Diligence (CDD) requirements are adhered to
- To undertake ongoing monitoring reviews for existing customers
- Evaluate and escalate common errors and policy deficiencies identified during reviews to assist the development and enhancement of the banks instructions
- Ensure workflow management tools are completed accurately and fully to enable data to be extracted for management information (MI) reporting
- Identify any key risk areas and Anti Money Laundering (AML) ‘red flags’ and escalate to management
- Undertake quality control checks on both new to bank and existing CDD.
- Keep up to date with and develop a broad knowledge of upcoming changes in regulations, internal policies and latest developments in financial crime learning
- Perform ad-hoc duties delegated by Team Lead
- Communicate effectively to branch colleagues and District compliance departments any issues raised from case reviews to enable these to be resolved in a timely manner
- Embed the Handelsbanken culture
Skills, Experience and Role Requirements:
- AML and KYC experience is preferred
- A thorough understanding of due diligence requirements and the differences between, simplified, standard and enhanced
- Experience in regulated environments is preferred
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Self-motivated and results focused
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to analyse, articulate and present complex issues clearly and concisely.
- A team player with a positive, supportive, and engaged approach to change.
- Excellent time management skills and able to prioritise workloads to meet agreed deadlines.
- Professional standard of presentation skills.
- Ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels and represent Handelsbanken effectively.
