Network Squad is an IT & Telecoms Support & Service provider based in London. Our services include CCTV and Wireless Network installations. We are looking for a friendly person to join us on project basis. The role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys physical work and problem-solving. Work envolves Ethernet Cable laying, WiFi Device Mounting, CCTV Camera mounting, Switches/Devices mounting in rack.
Installations will be in both business and residential environments and will involve both CCTV system installation and network installations. An interest in IT would be an advantage.
80% of Client Sites are within M25 Region
You should have your own Tools
Installation / Laying of Network Cable (Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6a)
Mounting of Access Points or Camera on to wall's
The ideal candidate will have experience in using hand/power tools and ladders. Working at heights is involved.
Previous experience working on cat6/cat6a cabling is preferred, should know how to terminate RJ45 connector.
The position will be field-based and will include occasional working in a different city (Birmingham/Manchester/Leeds).
Health & Safety: Be fully conversant and compliant with the Company Health & Safety policy.
Presentation/image: give a positive image of the company (uniform provided)
Ensure all required completion paperwork and are completed accurately and submitted promptly. Ensure deadlines given by Head Engineer/s and or Project Manager are met.
