Cattery Assistant – full time or part time
Blue Haze Cattery and Small Animal Hotel is a small, family run cattery under new ownership since November 2022.
We are planning to refurbish the existing cattery during 2023 including expanding the number of cattery /small animal chalets. Currently, we are licensed for 71 cats.
We aim to provide the best experience for our guests and are looking for a number of individuals to join our family team in both full time or part time roles.
Both the full time and part time roles include all aspects of looking after our guests including daily cleaning of chalets, feeding, monitoring behaviour and well being and providing daily enrichment as well as customer interaction and general office duties.
Individuals interested in the full time role will need to be qualified in Animal Care & Welfare Level 3 or above with part time roles available for those studying towards the Level 3.
Own transport is required due to our location but parking on site is available.
Both full time (permanent position with guaranteed weekly hours) and part time roles include working Bank Holidays, Christmas and New Year (on a rota system with other members of the team) as well as 1 day over the weekend but we can be flexible depending on your availability so please do contact us with your ideal hours of work / whether you are looking for full time (5 days a week including a weekend day) or part time, with your CV.
