Your Contribution

• Software Testing Implementation and Operation
• SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) Process Implementation and Operation
• Product Delivery Implementation and Operation
• Quality, Time and Cost Implementation and Operation

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a software testing and validation role essential
• Advantageous: Degree-qualified in a computing-related discipline
• Preferable: ISEB/ISTQB Software Testing Foundation Certificate – or equivalent/higher software testing qualification
• Analysis, writing of test specifications and automated software test scripts, including regression tests
• Performing software testing procedures
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix, Windows, MacOS and Mobile environments
• Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps or similar
• Knowledge of the Requirements Process and Use Case scenarios.
• Knowledge of Audio in large-scale live concert environments would be highly advantageous - whether gained professionally or as a personal interest
• Ability to communicate clearly with a wide range of people – development engineers, salesmen, service engineers and customers. The role may involve some direct customer contact

Responsibilities

• To ensure the suitability, reliability, quality and fitness for purpose of all software releases
• To undertake testing of all software in conjunction with the wider brand team
• To manage and track all reported software issues
• To write appropriate test scripts and procedures in order to perform the above
• To analyze testing requirements for all new software products and produce suitable software test plans, scripts and applications for such software
• To liaise with the software development team, Head of Software and customers to record and inform interested parties of problems and issues found in software and beta software products during the above tests
• To liaise with the software development team, Head of Software and customers to record, verify and inform interested parties of problems and issues found in software and beta software products outside of tests performed directly by the Software Test Department
• To assess fitness of purpose, suitability and quality of software
