Job Purpose
- As part of our catering and hospitality crew, you will cover all elements of the operation, both front of house customer service and presentation and delivery of our fantastic food offer.
- You will deliver an outstanding customer experience, ensuring compliance to our food safety policy and operating procedures as well as achieving sales and customer service targets.
- Working as part of the Catering team you will take responsibility for, and add value to, the efficient and profitable running of your operational area to achieve your personal, team and unit objectives.
- Being a key team player and demonstrating a passion and pride in what you do is essential.
As a full time role this post has a working pattern of 37.5 hours per week, but flexibility may be required by mutual agreement and there may be some weekend and public holiday working at peak periods.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- To assist in the preparation and provision of all food and drinks being served and to ensure that this meets the required standards as laid down in our Food Safety Policy.
- Ensure thorough and up to date knowledge and understanding of menu and special offers in order to provide relevant information to our customers
- To ensure the hygiene, cleanliness and tidiness of the catering and café areas, whilst adhering to Health and Safety and Hygiene policies.
- Demonstrate a passion for customer service excellence and offer a personalised service experience that exceeds customer expectation.
- Responsible for cash handling and following agreed cash handling procedures.
- Liaise and communicate with customers and colleagues to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the department.
- To assist in the control of food and non-food items ensuring that the compliance of the department policies on storage and issuing of all stock procedures are always adhered to. This will include assisting with stocktaking.

A1 Ability to demonstrate the competencies to undertake the duties associated with this level of post having acquired the necessary knowledge and skills in a similar role.
A2 Food Safety Level 1 (to be completed within first week) followed by Food Safety Level 2 (to be completed within first 3 months).

Terms and Conditions
Salary from £10.90 - £11.90 per hour (based on skills and experience).
Please note there are 6 posts available. All roles are full time (37.5 hours per week) and permanent/open-ended but flexibility may be required by mutual agreement, and there may be some weekend and public holiday working at peak periods.
