Job description
An opportunity has arisen to join our dedicated team of Support Services staff within the catering department based at Glenrothes Hospital, 16 hours per week (worked 4 days over 7) . Main duties are maintaining a clean safe working environment for the delivery of the catering service, covering duties within the main kitchens as required, some basic food preparation.
An Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate is essential, also previous experience of working within a large scale catering environment is desirable.
You should be willing to undertake a flexible working pattern to cover for annual leave / sickness if required. You may be required to work within any of our catering departments around North East Fife.
This post will involve weekend work, for which enhanced rates are paid. Uniform and PPE supplied, access to workplace pension scheme, along with excellent holiday entitlement.
Please note the salary scale for this post is pro rata for part time hours.
