Job description
INSURANCE CLAIMS - CASUALTY/ LIABILITY FIELD ADJUSTER
In the Fremont area to cover San Jose, Oakland and Tracy, CA.
We are looking for an independent field adjuster with a good working knowledge of personal lines and commercial lines policies and is experienced in handling casualty claims, including auto/trucking losses and some commercial general liability claims.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience with handling all aspects of a claim including investigating to determine the cause of a loss by taking detailed statements from all parties/ witnesses involved, conducting scene investigations, taking scene photos, locating individuals, obtaining police reports, documenting the files, etc.
The candidate must be well spoken, possess strong report writing and computer skills, practice excellent time management skills, be able to prioritize, keep accurate and detailed notes of all claims handling activity, and act in a professional manner at all times.
This position allows you to work from home and is ideal for an independent contractor who has other insurance claims clients. High-speed internet is needed.

COVID-19 considerations:
Field adjusters must wear face masks and gloves when entering homes, and must sanitize their hands and vehicle after leaving one inspection before the next inspection. Homeowners are asked to also wear face masks.
