Casual Technician
It's an exciting time to join the Edinburgh Playhouse. After a 12-week closure period, which is helping future-proof our venue for decades to come, we are excited to welcome back our audiences to the UK's largest seated theatre. We open in August to a packed festival programme including internationally acclaimed names such as Dame Judi Dench and Greta Thunberg, alongside a music program that includes Jake Bugg and Alison Goldfrapp. The autumn and winter seasons find us being the opening venue for both Disney's Aladdin and Wicked UK tours. The 2024 programme is also jam packed with new shows and timeless classics, consistently bringing the magic of theatre and live performance to our audiences.
We are looking for a number of Casual Technicians to join our Technical Team.
You will work with the Stage Manager and Chief Electrician in both venues to provide technical services to each visiting company from completing get-ins and get-outs to working on performances. You will also work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the stage, sound and lighting equipment.
