The Sunderland Empire Theatre is the largest theatre between Leeds and Edinburgh and is referred to as the West End of the North East; we're a dynamic, busy venue welcoming thousands of audience members through our door each year housing a mix of Hit West End Musicals, UK Tours, Comedians, One Night shows and Local Performances. We cover every discipline in the theatre industry, from operating venues to ticketing platforms and producing shows. We are look for Casual Technicians for our Back of House department, who will work with the full-time technical team as required on visiting productions, in various roles. You'll be involved in all aspects of the Technical team's work, including working shows and events, fit-ups and get-outs, whether this is part of either the Stage or LX team. The amount of work offered will fluctuate depending on the nature of the production.
