We are an authorised Rational service partner and spares dealer. We have been working with the leading brand in commercial combination ovens since 1997. We are based in the heart of Kent and distribute all Rational spares and cleaning products nationwide, as well as providing a first-class repair and maintenance service to London and the South East. We aim to give a level of service and response you'd expect from a big company, with the personal touch you'd rightly appreciate from a smaller provider.
The Role
The Service Coordinator role requires a customer focused and pro-active individual whose strengths lie in communication, organisation and administration. A can-do attitude along with great customer service skills will be essential to delivering a first class service to our customers, colleagues and partners.
The successful candidate will be working in a small but busy service department. You will be covering various functions including; Customer liaising, scheduling of engineers work, invoicing and administration, stock management, warehouse duties and other Ad Hoc duties. You will be working as part of a small team and sometimes you will be working alone.
The key responsibilities are:
- Be the customers’ main point of contact, ensuring customer requirements are met when taking orders and booking call outs, keeping them updated throughout.
- Ensure quality customer service is provided at all times
- Receiving, booking and scheduling of engineer call outs
- Monitor the service mailbox & respond to customer requests in a timely manner
- Use the office IT systems to generate invoices, estimates and other administrative duties
- Effective management of stock levels and customer orders
- Warehouse duties such as packaging orders for delivery
- Working closely with our engineers to provide prompt service and technical support to our customers
The Ideal candidate:
- Previous experience working in a commercial catering or other service department is an advantage but not essential
- A positive can-do attitude and willingness to deliver exceptional service to our customers and partners is essential
- Must have basic levels of proficiency in IT/office software
- Due to the location of our office, your own mode of transport is essential
- Must be able to cover service at weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis
- The ability to make decisions and organise yourself effectively will be critical as you will be required to work alone at times
Benefits and Hours:
- Salary Guaranteed to be above National Minimum Wage and dependent upon experience.
- Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm
- Weekend and Bank holiday service cover - as per Rota
- 20 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays

Salary: £18,000.00-£21,000.00 per year
