MAJOR TRAUMA SERVICE- TARN COORDINATOR with Administration duties-
Substantive 0.8WTE (30 HOURS)
The post holder will play a key role in the coordination of data for the Adult Major Trauma Centre (MTC) which is the host centre of the Severn Major Trauma Operational Delivery Network. This role works as part of a small team, ensuring that clinical information from patient records for major trauma patients is extracted, interpreted and submitted in line with national deadlines, guidance and requirements for the Trauma Audit and Research Network (TARN). The post holder will need to have flexible skills and be able to support the wider clinical and managerial team with administration tasks. Some working from home can be considered after initial training and proven competency demonstrated.
The Major Trauma Service delivers a 7 day a week service, so some weekend working at home can be required on a rota during busy periods. Work hours 0700 - 1500 Monday - Friday, and 0800 - 1600 if providing weekend cover.
The post holder may also have the opportunity to provide some remote support to the Paediatric Major Trauma Major Trauma Centre with TARN data submissions to cover emergency leave / vacancies.
