Extreme Wheels Roadshows has been established for over 20 years with a high reputation in delivering extreme and action sports from grassroots right through to running our own Professional BMX and Trials Biking Demo teams at national events.
We are currently looking to recruit a number of individuals who possess a positive and outgoing personality to assist in the set up and delivery of our Extreme Wheels activities and programmes, both locally and nationally.
If you have a good understanding of extreme/wheel/urban sports Industry or work with young people and willing to work towards a qualification in sports coaching and/or sports leadership we want to hear from you.
You will assist and work closely with the Extreme Sports Coaches for the delivery and safe operation of wheeled/urban/extreme sports (such as skateboarding, BMX freestyle, body zorbing, slack lining and climbing wall etc.) and to engage, enthuse and empower the general public to participate in at events and sessions both locally and nationally.
This post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check at Enhanced level.
To be successful you will need to have demonstrable awareness of the following in relation to the role
- Extreme/Action/Lifestyle Sports and leisure activities
- Health and safety
- Safeguarding
- Good verbal and written skills (i.e. dealing with customers on a face to face basis & keeping records/paperwork up to date)
- Delivering excellent customer service
Qualifications
Willingness to work towards attaining within 12 months of employment
- Safeguarding Certificate
- Emergency First Aid Qualification
- CSLA Level 2 or equivalent NGB coaching qualification preferably in wheeled sports
