CASHIER – WINGYIP
We are offering a fantastic opportunity to join the market leader for oriental produce in the country, currently employing over 300 staff across 4 different locations. Here in Manchester, we are requiring a new Cashier, offering a competitive rate starting at £10.01 p/h and a minimum of 20 hours guaranteed. We have a friendly, diverse team which has created a supportive work environment for all staff, and although it can be fast paced and busy – we know how to get stuff done!
Within the Cashier role, we are looking for candidates who:
- Are team players, willing to learn different departments procedures and help out when and where required
- Have excellent customer service skills and show care towards the consumer
- Can confidently and accurately handle large cash transactions
- Are able to identify and memorise products sold in store when assisting in transactions (particularly wholesale goods)
- Have the ability to use an EPOS system
- Can work safely and to abide to Store Policies and Procedures, in addition to Wing Yip core values
Other attributes we are looking for include:
- Retail experience (preferred but not required)
- Education to a GCSE or equivalent level (preferred but not required)
- Common sense and a positive attitude to work (required)
- ENGLISH - FLUENT (ESSENTIAL)
