Job description
The League of Friends operates 4 shops within the hospital using a total of 6 tills.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake the following tasks...
- Complete "End of day" till reports every week day morning for each till.
- Count the cash takings from each till.
- Float up the each till ready for use (make sure that there is £100 in each till).
- Deposit the cash once a week with the Hospital cashiers (filling out the required paperwork).
- Record the daily cash & card takings from each shop and report to the Shops Manager.
- Report any shortages/errors to the Shops Manager.
Full training will be given to the successful applicant.
Working hours would be Monday to Friday 9am to 1pm (although this may be flexible)
Due to Hospital location, successful applicant must complete a DBS check (paid for by the League of Friends).
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week
Salary: From £11.05 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Shropshire, SY3 8XQ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Cash handling: 1 year (preferred)
