Job description
Noble Catering & Events is currently seeking candidates for Milwaukee Public Museum - Cafe Cashier. Position duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to; taking orders, processing credit card payments (non cash location), restocking, serving guests at the counter, and light cleaning. The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality with a friendly smile who works well with others. This position is an opportunity for students or those looking for part time work with opportunities for growth. This is a non-exempt role that reports directly to store leadership. Schedule to include day time hours and weekends. Part-Time or Full-Time hours available with competitive wages starting at $14/hr + tips.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting guests with placing their orders using a POS system (Toast). This includes processing online orders.
- Process payments using credit card machines (noncash location).
- Servicing guests at the counter while they dine or wait for their to-go orders.
- Restocking supplies as needed in front-of-house areas.
- Maintain professional and cleanliness standards.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Previous cashiering experience is preferred but not required.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to work alongside others while contributing to a positive team environment.
- Ability to read, write, and understand spoken instructions.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Reaching, bending, and swooping.
- Occasional need to lift, carry and move up to 30lbs.
- Exposure to loud noises typical within a restaurant (voices, music, etc).
