About the Role
Reporting to the Cash, Banking and Revenue Manager, the purpose of
this role within a newly formed team is to be responsible for the accurate and
timely processing of cash and banking transactions.
You will also be involved in all aspects of bank-related activity
to include bank reconciliations and issue resolution. The role will involve
working across multiple systems and with a wide range of both internal and
external customers.
Key accountabilities of the role include:
Maintain daily bank reconciliations and resolving any differences.
Timely resolution or escalation of queries
Supporting the resorts with cash and banking transactions
Regular communication with the Barclays banking team, merchant services providers and payment service providers to maintain controls and resolve issues.
Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations for accounts relevant to your role
Assist with documenting new cash and banking processes and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Involvement with new project work to ensure cash and banking procedures are captured and implemented.
About You
We are looking for someone with previous experience in posting
transactions and maintaining bank reconciliations as well as experience of
processing large volumes of transactions.
Knowledge of banking systems, merchant service providers, payment
providers (e.g. Barclaycard, Stripe and Worldpay) would be considered
advantageous but isn’t essential.
You should be enthusiastic and
flexible with a drive for identifying opportunities for improvement wherever
possible.
