The Wellness Advisory Advisor will support the smooth running of the Wellness functions within the HR Services function of Central Business Services. You will support and provide guidance to the Wellness Advisory Senior Assistants on more complex cases and may be required to deputise for the Wellness Advisory Assistant Manager when necessary.

Your core responsibilities will be:

  • Manage a high caseload and advise on more complex varied sickness absence queries
  • Provide advisory support to both employees and People Leaders across the Sickness and Absence Management cycle
  • Manage allocated caseload which will include; Pay adjustments o PHI process, General queries of a complex nature, Return to works which require SME expertise o Proactive end to end OH / specialist cases
  • Deputise for the Wellness Advisory Assistant Manager when necessary
  • Manage escalations as allocated both from Central Business Services and wider HR teams, ensuring appropriate follow up and management of stakeholders.
  • Lead process and service delivery, supporting coaching and sharing knowledge with the team.
  • Liaise with Clinical Advisor to support clinical case management where necessary
  • Provide timely and effective handover, where appropriate, of cases that require input or completion by the wider HR team
  • Ensure effective utilisation of case management tools, keeping all records up to date and accurate and tracking activities through to timely closure
  • Ensure all SAP-related actions or updates are completed accurately in time for payroll deadlines and in line with procedural guidelines

Essentials

  • Previous HR experience of managing complex sickness absence cases
  • A confident delivery of verbal and written communications with excellent attention to detail
  • Able to work well under pressure whilst managing high volume work
  • Able to adapt recommendations or advise as appropriate
  • Customer focus, with a good understanding of the client’s needs and priorities

Desirable

  • Knowledge of SAP or other HR systems is preferable
  • ServiceNow software experience
