Due to continued growth we're looking for an experienced Case Maker / Export Packer to join the team here at P K Marine Freight

Based out of our 70,000 sq. ft. warehouse in Knowsley, we've been offering a full cargo handling and logistics services over the last 52 years!
We are looking at expanding the team due to an exciting period of growth, change, and with an ambitious business planning pushing for substantial development over the next few years
The Job - Working in a well established team of Export Packers, your day to day duties will be varied from; manufacturing export cases, packing and securing a wide range of good into cases, receiving cargo, using overhead cranes and forklift trucks. The new team member will also be required to load and secure export projects into shipping containers and flat racks. As part of the role you will be expected to maintain high standard of health and safety, quality and site maintenance to fall in line with the companies overall policies.
Essential Experience -
- Previous export packing or case making experience (measuring, cutting timber, using saws and hand tools)
- Willingness to work away and overnight on occasions
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to work outside normal remit
- Excellent timekeeping
- Experience driving forklift truck
- Desirable use of overhead crane

Working hours are Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:30 Friday 08:00 - 15:00
