Responsibilities:
- Assist carpenters with various tasks such as measuring, cutting, and shaping materials
- Assist with the installation of cabinets, siding, and other building components
- Help with electrical work, including wiring and installing fixtures
- Aid in remodeling projects by removing and replacing old materials
- Assist with concrete forming and masonry work
- Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, including framing and finishing
- Perform caulking and plastering tasks as needed
Experience:
- Prior experience in carpentry or a related field is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of carpentry tools and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks and lift heavy materials
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges in the field of carpentry
Note: This is an entry-level position, and we are willing to provide training for the right candidate.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 45 per week
