Equans is looking for a Administrative Assistant to join our EDF team in Torness on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37 hours per week on a 12 month fixed term contract. On offer is a competitive salary of £23,786 per annum, and company benefits package.
Overview
You will support the Business Services team within the Professional Service in line with the organisation’s goals and values.
Main Duties and responsibilities:
Gather, analyse, and present data from various sources for use in management information reports as requested.
Prepare agendas for meetings, attend meetings, and produce formal minutes for distribution.
Facilitate site access, IT access, and training requirements for new starts and visitors.
Respond to routine requests for information – assemble relevant data and compile as necessary.
Monitor and facilitate the Corrective Action Process. (Training provided).
Support colleagues with day-to-day activities to ensure that deadlines and standards are met, and commitments are honoured.
Carry out stock-taking activities and replenishment of business supplies.
Verify, prepare, and forward purchase orders/requisitions, verifying receipt of items and seeking authorisation for payment.
Maintain effective diary management, including the coordination of meetings, appointments, travel, and hospitality as necessary.
Creation of plant labels.

Required Experience:
Good time management skills: able to take responsibility and to work independently and flexibly to prioritise workloads, work to deadlines and meet targets – whilst maintaining an assertive, confident, and diplomatic approach to staff/contractors.
Able to form and maintain good working relationships at all levels internally and externally.
Good knowledge of MS Office programs, including Word & Excel.
Confident communicator.
Previous administration experience, minimum 2 years.
This role includes a BSVR and CTC check therefore ability to pass is essential.
