The client is a resident managed housing organisation in east central London. They manage the maintenance of over 1500 homes.
Job Description
- responsive repairs in relation to plumbing and carpentry works
- debris clearance
- identify correct materials needed
- Ensure compliance, health and safety and regulations
- Liaise with company representatives and customers / residents
- Review the repair work - inspections and report back
- Respond to emergencies
- installations, repairs, cutting, welding, testing, fittings, fixtures
- Preparing cost estimates
- Troubleshooting and resolving problems
The Successful Applicant
- Trade qualification or completed apprenticeship
- 2+ years experience, ideally more
- Ideally domestic experience
- Good knowledge of water supply, heating and ventilation systems
- customer service skills
- previous customer experience
- reliability
- positive and good communication
- Previous experience handling customer queries and responding to call outs.
