Position Title: Carpenter

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Carpenter to join our team. The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing and installing truss roofs. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be able to interpret drawings, and possess the necessary tools to perform carpentry tasks. The Carpenter will work with a team of construction and maintenance professionals to complete projects on time.

Responsibilities:

- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, squares, or pencils.

- Follow drawings and building plans to meet the needs of NHBC

- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim.

- Install fascia & soffits to comply with NHBC

- Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and roofs.

- Install plasterboard, insulation, and other materials as required.

- Collaborate with other construction and maintenance professionals to ensure projects are completed on time

- Provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in carpentry.

- Ability to read and interpret drawings, and specifications.

- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.

- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £100.00-£220.00 per day
