Carpenter
We are seeking an experienced Estate Carpenter and Handyman to join our team at a mixed farm with a stud. This position offers the opportunity to work on various aspects of property and farm maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Assist in property maintenance tasks and general repairs.
Repair stables, barns, and other structures to provide functional and comfortable spaces for livestock and equipment.
Collaborate with farm staff to ensure efficient operations and timely completion of projects.
Manage inventory and procure necessary materials and supplies for carpentry and maintenance work.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Estate Carpenter and Handyman or similar role.
Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, including framing, roofing, and general construction.
Familiarity with farm management practices, including stud operations and property maintenance.
Proficient in operating a wide range of tools and equipment.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Effective time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £20.00-£35.00 per hour

- East Grinstead: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Joinery: 1 year (preferred)
- Carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- CSCS (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
