Job Title: Project Management Office (PMO) Center of Excellence (COE) Specialist

The COE is a new function within the Chief Transformation Officer (CTO) of Deutsche Bank, primarily focusing on supporting PMO teams of key transformation objectives and priority projects globally across the bank. Under the PMO COE, you will be helping to standardize the methods and formats of Program/ Project Management Office (PMO), provide coaching and share best practices across the organization. The PMO COE will achieve this by providing Training & Coaching, building PMO Community of Practitioners and provide hands-on support to PMO teams in selected priority projects to improve program effectiveness and in-time/ in-budget delivery.

Your key responsibilities

  • Developing, owning, and implementing a PMO curriculum while also building a training and

Coaching capability available to key projects, globally

  • Engaging with portfolio / program / project PMOs and Change Managers to understand current challenges, training needs, development ambitions and existing training offering
  • Providing coaching to ensure change is consistently led across the organisation, and consistently evaluate opportunities for capability uplift
  • Implementing and managing a PMO community of practitioners to foster cross-divisional exchange
  • Identify gaps/issues in project delivery by conducting interviews with project stakeholders and check if adequate project standards are in place

Your skills and experience

  • Deep, foundational PMO and project management expertise at a global project portfolio level with a view on standard practice approaches in the market
  • Collaboration and relationship building within and outside project teams including transparent communication and alignment with relevant stakeholders
  • Ability to independently create comprehensive training curriculum including lessons and workshops materials, workbooks, and additional reading resources
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying bottlenecks, problem root causes and deriving paths to resolution
  • Knowledge and accomplished use of project management tools and software (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Clarity, Navigator, Tableau)
