This role will be within the Cargo team, where you will support the Cargo Manager UK & I, Cargo Sales Executives and the Cargo Services and Operations department as required. As Cargo Sales Support Agent, you will monitor customers sales performance, answer email and telephone sales requests and taking bookings via our reservations system. In addition, you will ensure compliance with company restrictions and embargos while delivering first class customer service, file and maintain cargo contract rates and tariffs, investigate and compile reports for customers and management. Your duties will include general office and administrative tasks and assisting the Company with any other tasks as and when required.
The ideal candidate will have efficient communication skills, excellent organisation and interpersonal skills and a good level of IT including MS Office. You should have a proven ability to deliver first class customer service, problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines. A flexible attitude is essential to suit operational requirements as duties will include the requirement to handle off-schedule operations as well as provide additional coverage when required, along with ability to learn and adapt quickly and the capacity to handle all types of situations, often under stress, are essential. Operational experience at the airport would be desirable.
Candidate must be eligible to work in the UK.
This position is full time with standard office hours 0900-1730, with some flexible working, based in our Cargo office at Heathrow Airport.
