Job description
We're looking for an caring, positive, enthusiastic Health Care Assistant to join our team at Dunniwood Lodge Care Home!
Our Health Care Assistants, or Carers, provide care and a helping hand to service users in their day-to-day lives while providing encouragement and support to maintain their independence and dignity. Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring the safety of those in their care is of the utmost importance to the Health Care Assistant role. Carers are friendly, respectful, considerate, and empathetic team players who are able to accurately identify the needs and abilities of people in order to deliver outstanding person-centred care and ensure the well-being of those they care for. You will receive comprehensive training and be an integral part in helping us maintain a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for all those who work, reside, and visit our homes. Health Care Assistants are invaluable front-line members of any care team and, despite the challenges, it is a truly rewarding profession where you will see the difference you are making in others' lives on a daily basis.

As a values-based, family-owned company, we believe that attitude is key. Care isn’t just our job - it’s our ingrained into our culture.
If you’re positive, curious and understand the importance of building relationships, we want to hear from you.
So, why Each Other Care? We will support and champion you in whatever direction you want your career to go in. Do you love being a carer and want to stay in the role long-term? We will help you be the best carer you can be. Do you love being a chef and want to progress into management? No problem, we’ve got you and can promise that you won’t be going it alone.
We will pay for training such as NVQ’s. Whatever stage of your career you’re at, you can be sure we will help you thrive and flourish. We can’t wait to work with you!
