Working from a flexible shift pattern of 5pm until 10pm in the evenings and alternate weekends in the Braintree, Uttlesford and surrounding areas.
We have a preferred visit time of one hour and we match and personally introduce our Care Assistants to their clients. Continuity is important, so you and your clients get to know each other! We always allow sufficient time to include travel to ensure both our clients and Support workers are valued and respected.
Duties will include:
- Providing care and support for our clients in their own homes.
- Supporting your clients with their hobbies and interests.
- Assisting clients to go to their appointments or taking them out in the community.
- Medication support.
- Supporting with personal care (washing and dressing) .
- Preparing meals and light domestic tasks.
- Supporting Clients to settle into bed for the evening.
Requirements of a Care Assistant:
- Must hold a full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving license and have access to own vehicle
- Have a genuine passion to want to help others
- Be a reliable team player with a positive attitude
If you have experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Carer, HCA, Health Care Assistant or in the NHS we would love to hear from you. However, if you do not have experience, we provide full training and encourage candidates from all sectors to apply, for example: retail sales assistant, customer service, hairdressers/beauticians, receptionist, administrator, cleaners, warehouse workers and delivery drivers. This could be the start of your new career, with our full support and outstanding training, anything is possible if you put your head and heart into it.
