NELFT are delighted to offer a number of opportunities to joinagrowing and dynamic Specialist Tier 4 Service in Kent, working across: Adolescent Inpatient, Community Re-integration supportive discharge service, Intensive Home Treatment Service, the Crisis Overnight Stay Service.Working together with the provider collaborative, local commissioners, and in-line with national drivers, we deliver high quality care in hospital and at home, to provide what young people need, at the right time, and in the right place (see care pathways below).
This post would be attractive for somebody who is passionate about young people’s mental health and is excited and motivated by the opportunityto develop a centre of excellence.. You will be joining a well-established, skilled, multi-disciplinary team, including: nursing, psychiatry, OT, psychology, art and music therapists, family therapists, child and adolescent psychotherapist, dietitian, social worker, assistant psychologists, support workers, DBT therapists, horticultural therapy, exercise therapist, etc. Our ambitious and innovative clinical model ensures that each young person and their carers receive the care that fits their individual needs.

Starting with NELFT - NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop-in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex
Purpose-built and set on 27 acres of idyllic Kent countryside, Kent and Medway Adolescent Hospital (KMAH) is the base for services across Kent. There is free parking and overnight accommodation on the grounds, which is available to staff. Nearby transport links including Staplehurst train station and local buses.
