Senior Care Assistant – Chatsworth Lodge and Riverdale Care Home
£10.67 - £12.01 per hour
Location: Chesterfield, Derbyshire
Sponsorship is considered for this role. To be eligible you must currently reside in the UK & hold the required qualifications and experience.
Introduction to the role
You will work closely with our care team and liaise with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure all individuals receive the highest standard of person-centred care.

As one of our Senior Care Assistants, you will be responsible for assessing the individuals needs and formulating person-centred care plans, ensuring that medical, physical, and emotional needs are met. Administering medication safely is paramount, all our senior care assistants are provided with additional training to ensure competency and knowledge of the medication used in our homes.
You will have previous care experience, within Older People’s care or within a dementia setting. It is preferrable to have a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care. However, if you are qualified to Level 2, we will support you to achieve your Level 3 via our career pathway.
You will have access to our Orchard Academy. You will receive bespoke training and support to develop your leadership skills, clinical knowledge and become an advocate for the people we care for.
Main Duties
To assess, plan, deliver and evaluate a high personalised standard of Nursing care which meets the individuals needs and the high standards expected at Orchard Care Homes.
To always ensure individuals are treated with respect and dignity and that individual’s rights to privacy, independence and choice are met.
You will be a team player who will lead, supervise, support and develop the care team.
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as will you be closely liaising with external professionals, individuals and relatives.
