Job description

The purpose of the EMEA Alliances team is to channel and spearhead our growth in the tech-enabled transformation space, by working even more closely with our technology partners and clients, and focusing on large scale, cross-territory transformational portfolios of work. We are looking towards the addition of new leaders to strategically and operationally drive these EMEA level alliance relationships forward.

We are looking for an Alliance Business Driver to join our team.

The role is a Business role, but requires a strong understanding of the ‘Business of Technology’, especially around Cloud, IoT, Digital Twins, Data, Analytics, ML, AI, Automation, Modern Work, etc.

  • You would need to be highly self-motivated, passionate and inspirational about driving big ticket transformations at clients.
  • You have to be able to ‘Think Big, Radical, and Out-of-the-Box’.
  • You would need to have / develop a broad industry & business knowledge across various industries, as you would work closely with the PwC Industry and Advisory teams across multiple industries, as well as with the Microsoft Industry and Go-To-Market teams.
  • You need to be a ‘People person’, as you would need to develop strong relationships across the spectrum, both at PwC and at Microsoft.
  • You must also have strong operationalization skills, with any ‘eye for detail’.
  • This is an always-learning role.
  • There are parts of the role where you will be doing & driving solutions and business that has been done before, and there will be many parts, where we will be pioneers, doing stuff that has not been done before. Be prepared for both.
  • You will oversee the roles of the other team members.

We will bring you up to speed on an accelerated basis, to understand the PwC and Microsoft business and alliance, and how to drive the business, and provide you full support to enable you to hit the ground running, once you join the team.

Your role will include:

  • Championing the Alliance:
  • It‘s Platforms & Technologies
  • How they enable Digital Transformation
  • How PwC builds our Solution Offerings, and Value Propositions on / using the Microsoft Platform.
  • How we GTM jointly with Microsoft.
  • Cross-pollinate PwC & Microsoft at internal / external events with each others‘ involvement (Speakers, Booth showcase etc.).
  • Solution development
  • Review existing Microsoft-enabled PwC Solutions from the rest of the network, and evaluate on which all of them can be adopted and delivered in your territory.
  • Review existing PwC Solutions / Offerings, and ideate on how we can transform them using Microsoft technologies.
  • Ideate with our Solution Partners, Industry Leaders, and Digital Leaders, on what are the new Offerings / Value Propositions that we can develop with Microsoft, and what does a Microsoft-enabled Offering in their area look like.
  • Ideate & Develop Industry Transformation Blueprints, Mega Transformations, and Industry Clouds, with Industry & Advisory teams.
  • Operationalize Joint-GTM efforts between PwC & Microsoft Execs & Teams :
    • Solution Leaders Alignment
    • Industry Leaders Alignment
    • GRP Alignment
    • Joint Account Discussions
    • Special focus on Strategic Growth Accounts, and Top Priority Accounts.
    • Elevate the level of our Client GTM to Board / CXO level Execs.

  • Governance & Relationships

Bring both GTM teams together, drive joint Opportunity Identification, Pursuits, Microsoft support, Microsoft GTM funding etc.

  • CEO-to-CEO Alignment
  • Drive Exec Sponsor QBRs, to review progress and push the teams from both sides.
  • Industry Leader-to-Industry Leaders
  • Account GRP to Account GRP.
  • PwC internal Governance meetings

  • Integrate with Adv & Platform Teams

Alliance Drivers to join Advisory & Platform Team Events (especially with those teams with whom we work the closest), in order to embed Alliance teams deeply with Advisory & Platform teams.
