Job description
Love Dogs?? Join our team as a host family providing a 'home from home' for our clients pooches when their pawrents are away!
Due to popular demand Kellys Pet Care is expanding to offer Doggy Daycare & Home Boarding to our fast growing client base. With over 15 years experience offering a range of services to pet owners, we are looking for dog lovers who can offer pooches a ‘home from home’ when their owners are either away on holiday or at work during the day.
We are currently looking for those who live in the following areas; Gosport, Lee-on-Solent, Fareham, Stubbington, & Hill Head.
The ideal candidate will have a love of dogs, and have experience of looking after dogs in some capacity, either as a dog owner or from previously working with dogs. This position would ideally suit someone who is available at home for a large part of the day.
We will operate our boarding services 7 days per week, covering Gosport, Lee-On-Solent, Hill Head, Stubbington, & Fareham. If you live in any of these areas and would be interested in joining our team of Home Dog Boarders, please apply!
What we offer:
- Licensing costs covered for each Home Boarder
- Insurance cover including Public Liability Insurance
- Full training and support
- Management of all client bookings so you can concentrate on providing your doggie guest with cuddles and attention during their stay.
- An excellent pay scheme
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a love of dogs together with experience of looking after dogs, either as a dog owner, fosterer, or from previous employment with dogs.
- Either own your home or be able to provide written permission from your landlord that you are permitted to board dogs.
- Be able to provide a safe, secure, and loving home to your doggie guests staying with you.
- Be available at home for a large part of the day when you have a doggie guest staying with you.
- Have a secure garden
- Be able to build good relationships with our clients and update them on how their pets are doing during their stay with them.
- Be prepared to walk your doggie guest in all weathers
We are looking for those people who love the company of dogs and can provide a true 'home from home' experience for our clients dogs in their absence, treating your doggie guests as part of the family.
As your doggie guests would require that you are available for them for a large part of the day; this position would ideally suit someone who works from home, is semi-retired or retired, works part time but available for a large part of the day, or someone seeking to provide dog boarding on a more full time regular basis.
If you love dogs and want to become part of a valued team of Home Dog Boarders, we'd love to hear from you.
To apply please email: [email protected] explaining why you feel you would be an ideal candidate, and we will send you an application form to complete.
