Location: King's Heath, Birmingham (B14 4LP) Please note we only accept applications from U.K based applicants

Contract type: FULL TIME 36, 42, 48 contracted hours available only

Shifts Available: 12 hours day/night shifts available 8-8.

Rate/Salary: £10.42 - £10.92 )

About Maypole Grove:

Maypole Grove supports 30 adults who need specialist nursing care arising from complex mental health needs, neuro-disabilities and physical disabilities.

The home has three ten-bed units, which gives it a homely and welcoming feel.

Maypole Grove is rated ‘Good’ with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and has an average rating of 4.9 out of 5 on carehome.co.uk.

About the Role:

Your role will involve supporting people with all aspects of their day-to-day living, which may include taking up new hobbies, meeting friends, getting involved in social activities, going to the gym or looking their best!

A Care Assistant day-to-day duty will include:

  • Providing personal care such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and on occasion, assisting with mealtimes
  • Promote independence, dignity, respect and choice across service users
  • Support social and recreational activities; both in and out the home individually, or as part of a group
  • Maintain care records, recording observations, activities and assessments
  • On occasion, welcome and train new members of your care team
