The Financial Planning and Performance (FPP) team, who are developing a new approach to financial planning across the University, is looking for a new team member. We are developing accurate, transparent financial planning information to open up strategic conversations with senior leaders and transform the way finance is understood within the University. The Finance Analyst, Reporting will provide accurate, clear and comparable financial reporting data. They will manage Chart of Accounts controls to ensure that transitions to new budgeting processes are accurate and consistent. They will manage in-year and year-end budgetary processes and develop reports to improve the use and understanding of variance analysis. They will work across teams to ensure compliance with procedures and delivery of accurate budgetary consolidation.
Your Skills
You will be a competent finance professional, comfortable with preparing, analysing and presenting financial information to financial and non-financial colleagues. You will be practiced at delivering consistent solutions to improve accounting processes. You will have experience of using financial reporting tools to bring your analysis to life. You will thrive in a creative, busy team, and will be happy to share your knowledge with others inside and outside of the direct team. You will enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues across the University.

Location
This role would usually be based at Greenwich House, however the Finance Division is currently trialling hybrid working, with two days a week from Greenwich House. This arrangement is currently temporary.
Once an offer of employment has been accepted, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a basic disclosure and a security check.
