Ambulance Response Services providing a range of Emergency and Non Emergency Services and are looking to expand our Operations Support team.

An opportunity has arisen for Ambulance response services to recruit more Emergency care assistants to our continuously growing team for High dependency, emergency and non emergency calls, and events.
Immediate starts available. Salary Salary starting at £12.50ph
DUE TO INSURANCE APPLICANTS MUST BE ABOVE 21 YEARS OF AGE AND HAVE HELD A FULL UK DRIVING LICENSE FOR A MINIMUM OF 3 YEARS. (THIS ROLE REQUIRES LESS THAN 6 POINTS ON DRIVING LICENSE)

THIS ROLE CAN BE PHYSICALLY DEMANDING AND YOU WILL SPEND A LARGE AMOUNT OF TIME ON THE ROAD COVERING AN ALLOCATED PATCH.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a varied role and some level of flexibility in supporting other roles will be expected. General responsibilities include:
- Ensuring code of conduct is maintained at all times
- Driving to a high standard
- Administering first aid
- Ensuring paperwork is filed correctly
- Working as a team and individually
- Carrying out vehicle checks in accordance to policy
- Ensuring ambulance is cleaned in accordance with Infection Control Policy
- Using radio and/or phone to keep in touch with Control Room
- Ensuring patients are safe and comfortable,
- Continuing patient care,
- Monitoring patient observations and escalating any deterioration,
- Assisting with the transfer of patients into the Emergency Department,
- Receiving handovers from ambulance crews and providing handovers to hospital staff.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
FREC 4 or equivalent
Demonstrate ability to work in an emergency and urgent care ambulance environment.
Evidence of Continual Professional Development
Experience in emergency and non-emergency driving.
Ability to deliver high-quality patient experience and always ensure customer
satisfaction.
Up to date with all Immunisations
Enhanced DBS
At least two years experience of driving with a full UK driving license - (No more than three endorsement points)
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
FREC 4 Qualification (in date)
The successful candidate will need to be self-driven and have good customer services. Able to work under own discretion, towards tight deadlines. A willingness to support across other roles is essential.

This role is subjected to two satisfactory references, and clean Enhanced DBS Clearance
This role is subjected to Driving & Lifting Assessment
This role will include working with chemicals. Work Overalls/ Uniform will be provided
This role runs on a shift rota which will include some weekends, evenings and bank holidays
