The role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Administrator to join our Information and Systems team, within Careers, Employability & Student Enterprise (CESE). As the first point of contact by phone, email and in person for students, employers and other stakeholders, your role will be as an ambassador for the service, ensuring that all customers are supported appropriately, and a professional image is conveyed at all times.
You will provide information to University of Southampton students/graduates and other customers on all aspects of the Careers, Employability and Student Enterprise offering. You may need to refer enquiries to other teams within CESE, Student Education Services or the wider University, so you will need to develop a thorough knowledge of the services on offer.
About you
You will possess excellent customer service and time management skills, have a strong attention to detail combined with outstanding organisation and communication skills. A good understanding of the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook) and a proactive attitude are essential. You must be a team player who is confident in building strong working relationships with colleagues.
