Job Role: Office Manager
Pay Range: Local Government Scale 5 Points 9-12
Actual Salary from: £20,863 - £22,034
Start Date: 1st September 2023
The Role
We are seeking an outstanding individual to be responsible for the management of the administrative support function, ensuring the provision of an effective and efficient service. To be responsible for office personnel matters and office staff development in liaison with the Headteacher.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Overall responsibility for all work undertaken by the administrative support staff, to allocate and monitor workloads, and ensure appropriate training for all new office support staff
- Responsible for maintaining the Single Central Record (SCR) and with regard to voluntary helpers in school complete online applications, ID verification and DBS checks as necessary.
- Ensure that SIMS pupil records are kept up to date, new pupils added to system and leavers removed at the appropriate time

We're looking for you if you have:
- Successful experience of administrative work in a busy office environment
- Experience of development, management and operation of administrative systems and ICT packages, including Microsoft Office
- Work constructively as part of a team, understanding organisational roles and responsibilities
- Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion at all times
