working hours:
Saturday – 5-10pm and sleep in
Sunday – 07.30-12.30

An exciting opportunity has become available for a flexi-care care worker within Temple Court, Woodland Way, Baldock SG7 6LY

- We pay you £12.43 per hour – FTE £25,900 per annum (£13.43 for Bank Holidays) from the beginning of your shift to the end.

A little bit about the Role and Responsibilities:
· Providing support to older people as outlined in their care plans.
· Moving and handling and using other techniques to provide more specialist support.
· Helping people to express their wishes/preferences/like and dislikes.
· Offering emotional support and encouragement.
· Adhering to risk assessments and supporting people with behaviours that challenge.
· Medication administration.
About you:
· A passion for delivering high quality care to a wide variety of older people.
· Able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the people we support.
· Comfortable in assisting individuals with their personal care where this is required.
Experience as a care worker would be an advantage but is not essential as full training is provided. Therefore, we actively encourage applications from candidates with no previous experience.
Ideally, all applicants should be able to work at least two evenings per week and 2 weekends per month – but we are happy to discuss your availability informally or at interview.
Successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check before commencement of employment.
