Q-Club Day Centre Care Worker

Part-time

£11.38 weekdays per hour rising to £12.23 weekends per hour

An exciting opportunity has arisen in one of our Homes for a Day Care Worker to join our Quantum Club (Day Nursery).

Responsibilities:

  • You will help our members to enjoy daily activities.
  • You will have a key role supporting our members with recreational activities.
  • You will undertake Service User assessments, preparing before joining the club an appropriate, individual program of their preferences for occupation, leisure and hobbies.
  • You will enhance and improve individual’s life skills according to their ability and aspirations, enabling them to maintain their independence.
  • You will ensure a full program of enablement/maintaining independence pursuits is available for all Service Users.
  • You will encourage contacts with friends and family, activities in the community and personal shopping
