Care Worker – Full-time hours available

£10.37 to £11.18 per hour plus weekend and bank holiday enhancements

Quantum Care is looking for Care Workers to join our friendly team at one of our Homes.

We are looking for candidates who will help our residents to live meaningful lives and feel involved in their care. Working on a rota basis in our residential care home, you will have a key role supporting residents with daily living, including recreational activities, food and drink, administering medication, accessing health care and personal care. You will offer support that directly impacts our residents’ wellbeing, assisting them to enjoy everyday life with dignity.

As an organisation, Quantum Care provides services for over 2000 older people, in 23 homes across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Essex offering a great potential for career progression and personal development.

Who we’re looking for

  • You’ll be naturally compassionate and patient, it is not necessary to have previous experience of working in a similar care environment because as long as you have a positive attitude and good communication skills, our first-class training will do the rest.
  • You’ll be willing to undertake all aspects of care to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of our residents.
  • A willingness to be trained and to achieve Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care
  • The ability to work shifts (including weekends and evenings)
  • You must be aged 18 years or over to apply for this job.
