We are led by world-leading Professors, including Professor Dr Geeta Nargund, our Medical Director and one of the nation’s leading fertility specialists. We are looking for a dynamic HR Advisor to join the friendly team in our Dunstan House Office.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are ideally looking for candidates who have experience of working within a busy HR team as an Advisor and have exposure to both recruitment & on boarding. This role would also suit someone who is currently in a HR Advisor position, or equivalent and looking for progression.

The successful candidates would be based at our Dunstan House office based in London with an attractive salary and package depending on the candidate skills & previous experience.
Responsibilities:
- Providing HR advice and support to employees and managers on the practical application of HR policies, procedures and employment legislation
- Assist with the recruitment cycle, from developing job descriptions, liaising with hiring managers, and briefing agencies, logging CVs through to interviewing and supporting with the induction programme
- Support with HR employee lifecycle administration - joiners, leavers, secondments, consultants, contract amendments etc
- Advising and supporting line managers with any disciplinary, grievance and poor performance issues.
- Working with the Head of HR on policy updates and developments, including the Employee Handbook and in-house training manuals
- Maintain HR related spreadsheets/systems and data and use this data to create dashboards etc
- Support with the annual pay review process and all aspects of payroll
- Involvement with all employee surveys from design to action planning
- Working alongside the Head of HR on Diversity, Inclusivity, and wellbeing initiatives.
- Maintain all employee files ensuring archiving of leavers and cleansing of information held in line with data protection regulations
- Continuously develop professional knowledge and skills by keeping up to date with external trends and best practice HR
- To provide dedicated HR support to stakeholder groups, working with line managers and employees within these groups to proactively support the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Hold regular meetings with relevant managers to review and discuss any HR matters within their departments to ensure proactive HR support is available.
- Oversee and assist with the preparation of contracts of employment for payroll employees, UK and overseas candidates. Keep up to date with developments in legislation and update contract clauses as required.
- Monitor and continuously review Company Work Instructions and update where necessary in line with changes in Company policy and UK legislation.
- Advise/answer questions from managers and staff on Company Work Instructions and policies.
- Assist and advise line managers on performance, attendance, disciplinary and grievance matters.
Requirements:
- Successful track record in an HR generalist role in a similar environment
- Ability to work with highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Strong, clear and articulate communicator (written & verbal)
- Good working knowledge of HR policy and processes.
- High level of prioritisation and organisation to manage a high volume of work and prioritise effectively with an element of flexibility
- Multitasking must come naturally to you and you will work well within a team.
- Highly proficient in a range of software packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Enthusiasm and personal initiative to solve problems, a self-starter with ability to work with a degree of autonomy

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
