ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Care Worker and Home Carer at Welfare Tech UK Limited, you’ll help service users and clients enjoy each day by making sure they get the quality care and support they deserve. You’ll assist with daily living, providing support and companionship – and sharing great moments and memories too. It’s a chance to bring your dedication and compassion to a fulfilling environment. Every day will be different, so you can expect to undertake work that’s as varied as it is rewarding. As a Care Worker and Home Carer, you could be doing anything from supporting service users and clients with their Personal care (washing, bathing, hair & makeup), Continence support, Cooking, Housekeeping, Medication administration, and following care and support plans to ensure that each of our service users and clients has one-to-one time. ABOUT YOU
To join us as a Care Worker and Home Carer you’ll need to have some experience in caring for disabled people in a personalised manner. Some of our service users and clients are;
· mobile and non-mobile
· you must also be able to support individuals with Walking frames/sticks
You will work with various individuals from Children, Teenagers, Adolescents, and Older adults, with a can-do approach and excellent communication skills. Your empathy and warm-hearted approach will shine through, but above all, you’ll have the compassion needed to deliver the highest standard of care and support for all our service users and clients. ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT
Level of English
You must prove you can read, write, speak and understand English to at least level B1 on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) scale.
You can prove your knowledge of English by:
- passing an (IELTS) from an approved provider
- passing a Secure English Language Test (SELT) from an approved provider
- having a GCSE, A level, Scottish National Qualification level 4 or 5, Scottish Higher or Advanced Higher in English, gained through study at a UK school that you began when you were under 18
When you might not need to show your knowledge of English with us, if you’re a national of one of the following countries or territories:
