Surrey & Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust are currently seeking a Band 3 Care Support Worker to join their team for the next 12 weeks. This role is full time working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

What you will be responsible for
· Assist in providing services/care as delegated by the Paediatrician based at site.
· Demonstrate knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to deliver a quality service that is responsive to the changing needs of patients.
· Provide clerical and administrative support to the team as delegated by the Paediatrician and Lead Administrator.
· Deliver care in accordance with organisation policies, procedures and guidelines, according to competencies, as delegated by the Paediatrician.
The role will involve, but not limited to you performing the above.
You will have the following qualification/experience:
· A minimum of 6 months experience of working as a Care Support Worker in a UK hospital environment within the last 2 years and either a Care Certificate or NVQ Level 2 or above in Health and Social OR
· 12 months experience of working as a Care Support Worker in a UK hospital environment in the last 3 years.
· Specific experience of working with patients that have learning disabilities or mental health conditions.
· Undertake regular mandatory training*
*Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.
