The hourly rate for this position starts at £12.50 per hour
There are two available positions: one for daytime work and another for night time work
The position will be in Broomhill in Sheffield
Our team is committed to providing you with all the necessary training required to become fully competent in all aspects of specialised care, Rest assured that you will receive comprehensive training and ongoing support to ensure you feel confident and competent in providing the highest quality of care.
To be considered for this position, you will need:
- Flexible availability.
- To be available for an interview within 48 hours.
- To be available to start work within 2 weeks.
- A current DBS (Paper or Update Service)
About the role:
As a member of this team, you'll be responsible for providing specialized care to a female with Cerebral Palsy. this individual is very independent and enjoys watching ice hockey, has an interest in dinosaurs, and WWE wrestling. This position will entail working one-on-one with her. We're seeking a highly motivated professional who is passionate about making a positive impact in her life.
You will need to have a caring demeanour and a desire to encourage the client to participate in activities and outings, such as boccia which she loves! . A positive attitude and a friendly nature are essential for this role. About the Service User:
Our service user is a lively individual who enjoys fun activities and lots of laughter. She is eagerly looking forward to meeting her new team member, and is excited to build a meaningful connection with someone who shares her interests and passions.
The candidate that we are looking for should have:
- Care experience
- Good communication skills
- A knowledge of Cerebral Palsy (not essential)
