We are looking for a support worker for a permanent position.
Type of Contract – Permanent
Salary:
Starter: £21,000
Experienced: £22,000 to £24,000
Highly Experienced: Up to £27,000 (senior support worker)
Skills required:

•tact, patience and understanding
•computer literacy and administration skills
•mental strength, to cope with challenging situations and clients
What you'll do:
Our Service Users include adults with physical or learning disabilities, mental health problems, addiction issues or other emotional or social needs.
Your day-to-day tasks might include:
· Checking on the service users’ needs, progress, and wellbeing
· Prepare and serve meals to the service users and assist with feeding where required.
· .Providing one-to-one counselling or group therapy sessions
· Help with daily living skills like budgeting, shopping and claiming benefits
· Providing leisure and creative activities to engage the service user in a safe and supportive setting
· Liaising with the multidisciplinary team and other professionals in implementing the support plan
· Talking with service users’ families and arranging family and home visits
Prompting service user to take their medication
To be qualified for this role:
· Care certificate + Required Mandatory Training Certificate
· Minimum 1 year experience in care and support work
· DBS checked
