Assisted Living Care is a leading provider of supported living services (SLS) for individuals with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health conditions and/or Autism. We enable our clients to achieve independence and integrate with the local community. Our service has been developed to facilitate smooth and effective transition for individuals living in residential homes and/or hospital in-patients into our self-contained residential apartments/ bungalow that offer independent living within a community-based environment.

About the Role:
The successful applicant will work with adults and children. You will be involved in delivering all aspects of personal care as well as a range of clinical activities, assessments, interventions and management of risk in the community. The candidate will support the service user to adjust and to build skills that enable them to live as independently as possible, as well as developing and expand their life skills so that they can lead full and active lives within the community. This role involves working 12 hours day shifts. Client has requested male only staff.
What do we need from you?
- Reliable and trustworthy
- 1 years or more experience as a Support Worker
- Two to four 12 hour shifts per week, days and/ or nights.
- Flexibility, maturity, independence and the very highest professional standards
- Commitment to delivering client specific care
- Adaptable approach to support client and family members
- Ability to maintain clear professional boundaries within a home setting
