As a Deputy Manager, you will assist in managing operations to meet or exceed targets whilst ensuring high-quality care is delivered at all times. You will be responsible for the management of staff and are expected to take over full management in the absence of the Registered Care Manager.
You will help train and supervise care staff in all aspects of their work through direct teaching and by example. You will be involved in assisting the Care Manager with assessments of service users, ensuring care plans and daily records are maintained for each individual and promoting good liaison with the relatives of service users and outside agencies.
Some of your other responsibilities may include:
- Assist the Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the organisation
- Provide support and guidance to staff members
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Assist in developing and implementing strategies to achieve organisational goals
- Collaborate with other departments to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance
- Assist in budgeting and financial planning
- Coordinate and supervise medication administration
- Provide social work support to clients as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and procedures
- Financial acumen and experience with budgeting
- Familiarity with social work practices and principles

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
