Remote Veterinary Care Coordinator

DVMcenter provides support services for mobile end-of-life practitioners around the country, working with their clients and assisting them with their practice. Our team of care coordinators is the heart of each of our members’ veterinary practices, providing full-service, compassionate client support. Client care begins with the first phone call or email seeking information, proceeds to scheduling a home visit and coordinating details with the veterinary team, and finishes with additional support after the loss of a pet.

What our care coordinators do:
- Communicate with clients and veterinarians via phone and email
- Support clients in navigating end-of-life decisions for their pets, provide support before and after the appointment
- Schedule and coordinate visit logistics for clients, veterinarians, transporters and referring clinics
- Assist teammates with consulting, debriefing, and support
- Assist with special projects, such as resource development, social media and marketing, and administrative support as needed
What we look for in you:
- Availability for full-time (32-40hrs) or part-time (20-32 hrs), at least 2 weekend days per month.
- Weekday schedule consists of 9a-5p CST, 10a-6p CST or 11a-7p CST shifts. Weekends are paid at a higher hourly rate (+$4/hr more) and typically consist of 9-5CST shifts.
- Reliable self-starter with the ability to work effectively on a remote team to collaborate and problem-solve
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated empathy, patience, deescalation skills, and compassion while speaking with emotional clients
- Basic understanding of end-of-life veterinary care or a motivation to learn
- Good working knowledge of PCs, Microsoft Word and Excel, and proficiency in computer file management

- Fully remote position, no in-office time required

- All care coordinators are eligible for quarterly profit-sharing bonuses after 90 days of employment
