● Full time, 37 hours per week
● Based at home and Chester/Winsford office (TBD) (will require regular travel across district)
● Starting salary £27,344 + excellent benefits
● Fixed term for 2 years (with possible further 2 year extension)
The opportunity
This role is part of a brand new service helping to support individuals with the cost of living crisis and who are vulnerable or at risk of fuel poverty.
As an Energy Saving Adviser you will work within our community, delivering energy savings awareness workshops to frontline staff to help vulnerable clients and individuals with fuel poverty issues. You will be responsible for creating referral pathways into the new service which includes an energy advice contact centre and energy advice caseworkers, and for creating awareness of the service within local community groups and organisations.
The ideal person
You will have proven experience of delivering workshops, have excellent communication skills and be comfortable delivering presentations to groups of people. We are ideally looking for someone who has experience in delivering financial capability programmes as well as promoting energy saving measures, however training will be provided for the right candidate.

We are a locally focused charity covering the whole of the Cheshire West area with over 80 volunteers and employees. We provide free, impartial advice and information on a wide range of issues to our local community and are the largest independent provider of generic advice within the district.
